sorry, just to put some more salt in this wound...where the President fly's it is NOT just Air Force 1...it is his identical back up plane (same exact plane) that goes EVERYWHERE the president goes...Additionally the several planes that fly with him that carry "The Beast" his limousine, and associated cars...As well as the advance teams and their associated jets (usually 6 planes)

So for this signing, there are a minimum of 12 planes going from DC to Denver....and yes, it is a minimum of 12 planes...

In fuel alone for one 747 to fly roundtrip to Denver takes about 200,000 pounds of jet fuel. Divide that by 6.7 and you will have gallons. With all the other aircraft involved it is a figure unfathomable in money spent................

I saw a special on the discovery channel about this and it was insane on how much equipment and how many people it takes every time the pres gets into this plane!
