Don't you think we deserve the truth? Release his records, that's all anyone wants. I'm sure a big boy like Obama, can defend himself against his own personal life's documentation trail. Everyone seemed happy to go after the truth; when it was Bush (not that I'm a big fan of Bush). But, fair is fair. O is in the hot seat, expect to be questioned, it makes for a healthier gubment.

This WHOLE issue would go away overnight if they would just produce the long form birth cert.. It's not hard.
The fact he is fighting tooth and nail to keep from showing the cert. tells me and more and more peolpe that there is something he is trying to hide.
Then there is the question of his college application and which country he said he was from.
There are just too many questions that need to be answered.
Why is the obamanation fighting so hard to not allow this info out if he has nothing to hide??

I'm still betting he was born in Hawaii, but there's something on his BC he doesn't want the world to see.
From your argument, I see it differently. I think you could find out he was born in Kenya, and he still wouldn't have to leave. I think a good lawyer could swing the argument, that his mother was a citizen from Kansas, and so should he be, be damned the unconstitutional rules (as interrupted from a modern perspective). They would argue the Hawaii laws to death, and rule they where unreasonable. I could really see that happening at the supreme court level. It would be 5-4 ruling, but I wouldn't take a bet either way.
I also think, that if he released his birth certificate, that wouldn't be enough. He would have to release all the requested records, to get most people to accept it. But, with all his records, he would be lucky to get the nomination from his own party.
But, this may be the real problem. You could probably build a very convincing case, that he either stole foreign education aid, by falsification of the college entrance forms. Or, that his citizenship was "given up", when he went to Indonesia, and found a way to get into Pakistan when he was supposedly an American, visiting a country off limits to American's. That's where you have the greatest chance of wrecking Obama's train. Prove he gave up his citizenship. Of course, I'm not really sure how that would play out constitutionally. He might skate by, even then.
Either way, he'd be a lame duck, with no chance of re-election. And, the Dem's would take a beating in the polls for house and senate.
