If you look at an electoral map of the last election by county, the division is clear. Country folk against city folk. I think it’s worse now but we are a long ways away from having to take up arms against our fellow countrymen. I see a repeat of the 70’s after Watergate. A lot of damage was done with a filibuster proof dem majority and white house. Things were so bad that even the press couldn’t spin it to the people. I just hope there is another Ronald Reagan out there to try and repair the damage that the next 4 years will bring. The only un-repairable damage that will occur is Supreme Court nominations, which is my biggest concern right now. I’m afraid the country is about to take another sharp left turn.

I see that he is basically wanting to put in poor, unemployed, disadvantaged, criminals as judges.... that way they can "understand" what the people committing crimes are thinking when they do it and "sympathize" with them.

Those of us in the great state of Washington know all too well about the seperation. We are already labeled a decisively blue state and they have not even counted the votes.

Pathetic.

And they wonder why people are reluctant to vote.

Can I vote in Idaho instead? I might at least FEEL like my vote counted.

What neither candidate will tell you is how bad it is going to get, if you think its getting tough now wait a year it will be $hit sandwich time. I truly feel sorry for the next president, he inherited some real $hit to deal with, and won't be able to win for losing. I sure hope people educate themselves to the issues that are important to them, like most of you have done. All I can say is may the best candidates win. John

No matter how bad it gets or what happens the media will smooth it all over and they will find a way to blame the previous administration.

Had a chat with a couple last night. I had to walk away. They were TOTALLY clueless as to what Obama had done at the state level and when I told them of some of the stuff they called me a liar, said I was just a bitter conservative freak who couldn't stand that a democrat was going into the white house. Said if any of that were true the media would have told them.

I'm tellin ya, people are like sheep.
I may disagree with people, but good god, at least get informed enough to argue your point.

Yup, we're about to elect the most liberal, inexperienced politician with more skeletons in his closet than J Edgar Hoover.
Damn, I'd sure like to know what Billy and Hillary think right now. I'd bet that they hate Obama with a passion...especially Billy. Now that's irony.
