obama and keystone

but sopa/whatever the piracy act is called is being turned down. Even some of its biggest supporters are dropping it and saying its no good. How do you think a secret this big could remain a secret for so long? The media gets wind of everything so fast these days and our representatives in the house and senate would never go for any plan such as this.

MPS it probably wouldn't happen because germans actually liked hitler...and we hate our government. Not only that but Hitler did not kill germans at random, most of the people he killed were from different countries.

and as for the keystone thing I think it's stupid that the government has control over stuff like this. It should be a matter for the states to deal with.

If you are for states rights thats great. It wouldn't go that way either the Republican Gov. of Nebraska has denied the plan.

secrets we should know about have gotten leaked. and its not that big of a secret much longer when u have guest speakers now on mainstream media coming on air and speaking about depopulation like its nothing. speaking about martial law like its nothing.

and dude.... do you really think the news is going to tell you the 100% truth about the sopa/pipa act?

mind games are now in the works.

if they werent playing mind games, you would know exactky why theyre not doing the keystone thing.

they KNOW WHAT SHOULD BE DONE ACCORDIG TO THE PEOPLES NEEDS.

they wont do it. the most important things for this country are obviously of no interest to them. are they gonna tell us why? no.

figure out why they dont give a ****, and figure out why they wont tell you the reasoning behind the most assinine decisions.

I'm for this pipeline it will put a few thousand people to work for a short period with great paying jobs and benefits.
But the tar sand oil that it brings will be shipped to CHINA. Whats the real gain? It will not reduce the USA's dependence on mideastern oil.
My opinion is to run the pipeline to the Baker hub and then branch it all about the Bakken. But then it's a transcanada project, a foreign national company. So it won't be a option. Unless a US company would step up and propose such a project.
The US is on track to export the highest quantities of oil since 1949. While still importing oil. Big oil shell game coming at you. Its not always what it seems.

I don't care so much about reducing our dependence on foreign oil as I would like the additional jobs and economical benefits that it would bring. And I would rather have the states deny the pipeline than have the Federal government say no. The government is so backwards, the lowest power possible should always handle situations. Why does the federal government think it needs to make decisions for certain states when they can do this for themselves?

The feds have to be involved in interstate commerce. Every state would have different regulations and it would be a worse night mare. Also it's foreign oil = foreign trade, that is not a decision any state should make it has to many potential complications that could effect other states or the nation as a whole. Every interstate pipe line goes through the same hoops. The feds do take state leaderships recommendations into consideration.
I sure it didn't help that the API threatened the president of the USA. Like him or not he is the president.

I'm sorry your jobs wont be on the Keystone XL soon. We need them but at what cost to the nation? I'm certain it will go, as stated before TransCan has reapplied. I'm seeing a bigger picture is all. And will agree to disagree.

Didn't he reject the pipeline because of the potential environmental issues it would have in and around Nebraska? That's at least what I got from the articles I have read. Everyone is being really down on Obama for rejecting it but in reality if there was a major spill from that pipeline and it contaminated the ogallala aquifer the country would have much more problems than the jobs the pipeline created. With that said I'm actually a big supporter of the pipeline, just not having it go through NE. My guess is that Transcanada will make a new proposal with the pipeline avoiding NE and it will get approved.

I'm deeply disappointed in President Obama’s decision today to deny the Keystone XL pipeline permit. Last November, our state worked with the necessary parties to responsibly reroute the pipeline in Nebraska, allowing the Administration to approve the overall pipeline permit and create thousands of jobs. There is no reason for continued delay, and the President missed a real opportunity to put people back to work and bring a reliable oil supply to the U.S. Instead, he wrongly chose to not rile up his political base, putting his reelection ahead of our country.

it cant be about the reelection. A huge decision like this would hurt his chances of reelection big time. theres gotta be another big reason he decided not to approve it. a thing you gotta think about is who do uou think is honestly going to put in effort to change things once whoever becomes president if its not obama himself?

liberals=greenies=democrat=obama. One can only hope that if he gets reelected(I would prefer ron paul) he would allow it.
