Nytro under tunnel exhaust

On my '08 Nytro MTX there is 7" of space from the top of the Camo xtreme paddles to the bottom of the tunnel. I have a bike pipe I want to put on but it is 4" in diameter. Do you guys think that 3" of space between muffler and track is enough or is the track going to balloon at speed and hit the muffler? In other words how much space is needed between track and muffler? Any real world experience in this potential problem or is it safe to do without tearing up track or muffler? Thanks

I have a pipe off of a R1 and it is mounted 1/2" below the tunnel and I have plenty of clearance between the track and the pipe.

Question for you guys.... when you have the can under the seat, how far away is the muffler exit hole from the snow flap?

And does the exhaust airrlow make any funny popping or "thwap thwap thwap" sounds against the backside of the snowflap at idle?

I am considering this on a custom build but don't want any funny/silly sounding noises...

Any pics would be greatly appreciated!

Check out the link in my siggy line. I don't run a flap, but I really don't think it would give you a sound issue.
