nytro subframes

I had Fox Floats on my Nytro when I bent mine.

I straightened it with easy. Neighbours were looking at me funny though. There I am with a 25000 dollar sled tied between my F350 and with the front right lower a arm tied to the back of my wifes Navigator and giving it slight yanks until it was almost perfectly straight. I know it sounds crude and just stupid but that is what I did. And believe it or not it worked. Now I am strenghening it.

We are just trying to figure out pricing on the plates. To water jet for one hour is 250.00/hour. ouch.

haha we/my dad used to straighten trailing arm sleds between 2 tree trunks. and i think a come along would be a great way to do this with ease/precision. ;)

They hopefully will be available in a couple of weeks being that it is Thanksgiving long weekend. Should give lots of time to get them installed.

You can also use a large pry bar and leverage between the upper and lower a arms near the spindles to straighten it out, did this with mine several times, and it's quite easy. I'm getting a new 09 subframe for mine.

Ive heard from a dealer here in Sweden that you cant fit a -09 subframe on a -08?? Anyone with a technical updatebook that can confirm/deny that??

My dealer quoted me 485 in northern AB
Gonna take the road trip to T Nytro's neck of the woods for some stiffeners and try that route!

I think 'm gonna get T-nytro's kit...just wondering though, Is everyone have this problem or just a few that are hard on equipment? Hate to add weight. Is it a warranty issue?

Of the 5 guys I ride with that have Nytros all have bent subframes and warranty will not cover it. The owners of the Yamaha here in Whitecourt both bent their subframes and they can't even get it covered. Kit adds .675KG which is 1.5 lbs. but a subframe is 550.00 at local dealer. Price has come down from 700.00.
