WHo has the CR steering post and pivot/riser on their Nytro?

There's no pic on CR's website of their steering post...does it relocate from stock? If not, what is the advantage?

Thanks,

just orderd up a cr steering post for my sled today . they look like a steering post off an RTX but stonger i hope . i made a custom one that lasted me till now , i just couldent stand seeing the post flex so much . The cr one is powder coated black too !:D

I have a CR post and Risers i think a few advantages are that it uses a
t-post rather than a plate for the riser which is way cleaner and allows pivot as well as the use of nice tall risers. i also have the nick king steering post relocation which is way better gives more of a vertical feel to the bars. i love my set up and wouldn't change it for anything!

I have one of these posts for my sled that is being built but not sure how much of a riser to order. How much are you guys running with this post and what bars are you using. Thanks

I just installed the Powermadd pivot and 6" Fly risers (thanks Darko for the info) and stock bars for now. You could go with 7" risers and still retain all stock cables and controls.

It feels awesome compared to stock. I looked at the pics of Darko's and have mine almost straight up and down also. Way better rider position when standing.

I'm running the 7" with cr bars. Nick @ vernon motorsports is the guy to talk to about the post relocation, its not major but makes a big difference

I have a handle bar relocation kit made now too,it move the handle bar forward 4-5 inches and up an inch or or two ( depending on how much you roll it forward).

Made some adjustments on the hill yesterday...pulled the pivot back a couple of inches...now the stock throttle cable is a little short...getting an extended cable tomorrow!!

4-5 inches!! rider forward is the thing, not a cab over!!

hahaa!

No doubt! Linc ,that sounds a little extreme! We've all moved the top of the steering post ahead 2"s. This will raise your bars approx an inch or two and leaving everything else stock seems to be the perfect combo. Night and day over stock handeling! No more Tork steer eh Fuji! lol

Did you just shorten the column and put a Pivot top on it?

HUH? You don't need any pivots or squat!

You have to fab a little bracket that moves your top steering post clamp forward one hole (approx 2 inches) This is a must and is really easy to build. You then have to bend the lower steering post bracket with a pipe wrench or something so that the steering is free flowing (no tightness) If you don't want to do it maybe Vernon motorsports will could hook you up or also CR racing. They may have kits by now(not sure) All you need is two little pieces of aluminum for reinforcement of your upper post bracket when you put it ahead one hole.
