Nytro RPM Question

I have a 09 Nytro MTX 153. The last time I was out west I noticed I was only getting 7500 RPM's at elevation (11,000'+). Once we got back down around 8-9,000' I could pull 8700 on the trail. I didn't notice thr RPM's until the last day so didn't play with the clutch. MY question si what is redline and what kind of rpm's should I be aiming for. I have a Heel Clicker clutch kit that they told me what to run for that elevation. Wondering if I would have been better off taking the rivets out of the stock weights (8fs)and running that setup.
Thanks in advance!

Id aim for 9000-9100 on the trail. 8600-8700 in the deep. What secondary spring are you running and at what °

its very difficult to keep the rpm's up on a N/A nytro when riding above 10,000 feet in powder. I have a nytro and have tried a lot of things. you have to run light weights, reduce helix angle, and gear it down. Forget what yamaha suggests for high altitude setup in the manual....its not even close.

I don't know what the secondary spring is. I don't know what helix is in it either. The guy I bought it from didn't change it from stock as far as I know. I have the Heel Clicker kit for sea level and it rocks. I guess they would have a pretty good idea for elevation. I live in MN and ride it some here at home. I have read somewhere that they sell them a couple of different ways as far as gearing and such. I wish I knew where this sled was from originally.
