Nytro MTX Overall durability (chassis)

I'm curious how the nytro mtx holds up to VERY hard riding. Lots of jumping, dropping, trails. Like 20+ft cliff drops. I guess the first question would be how does it handle in the air. I've seen comments that running boards are a little weak, but they feel better than xp boards? Shocks of course unless its a 2010 are needed. Also if it was an 08 or 09 and wanted to cheaply upgrade skid aproach angle would an xp 16" track fit. I've seen that people have put the skids under but does the 16" track clear. Going to be gettin a sled by next season and I can get an 08 nytro 153 cheap. I would be putting a pump gas low boost kit on it. I rode a 2010 demo last year and loved it.
Thanks for any and all info.

16 fits....

subframe can be week....but brace it up and it will be fine

check out nikola build on TY rides just like your thinkin:face-icon-small-win

Nikola build? Also when you say brace it up, are you talking do it yourself brace it up or are there brace kits to buy?

you wont hurt it jumping, they are tough sleds. I don't think there is another sled that will hold up to what my Nytro has been through. I'm running a stock un braced 08 sub frame as well (the weakest out there) :face-icon-small-sho. Stock skids are junk, as you said the running boards are weak and without proper shocks/set up you can bow your a arms. But they are a very very solid sled for abuse.

Thanks everyone for the info. I have decided my next sled will be a nytro. Decided if I don't just go for it this time I will just be selling whatever I get and trying it anyway, so might as well do it now.
