On the 2000 mm700 it was a huge difference,and then on the RX1 it was the major fix to get it to climb up on the snow.Try it, some might like it,some won't,but on the older machines it was a hit.
Well I kinda knew I had to much weight and yes I sure did....had the stock weights with 8 grams of rivots in each arm....out of the box it ran 7800 rpm with the 162 with a red cat secondary spring....I threw in a set of stock weights with all 3 holes open and the rpm went to 8500 - 8600 so I rode it that way for the rest of the trip. Over all I was happy with the sled in stock form.
I talked to Dustin at Outlaw motorsports today about the clutching & gearing. Going to run a 19 top as I have reverse. Non Reverse they are suggesting 18's. Said the same thing about the upshift and no R's while climbing. He has 2 kits that should be available by next week. He is just waiting for some more soft pow to make the final test runs in. Sounds like they've got it figured out.
