Nytro Help

Any suggestions, my Stock Nytro Mt, spends more time on its side then, on its tracks. It is my First year on a stand-up sled (and I am still working on being able to stand and move around) My last sled was a Viper, however when side hilling it wants to dive down.... Really doesn't want to hill climb even the easiest of hills without loosing power and trenching in (track speed?). Doesn't turn or carve easily either. Snow conditions do make some difference, but we have been riding Yamaha forever, and I am struggling!

I am beside myself on what to do without spending a fortune or changing sled brands. I can't keep up with friends Dragons or Apex!

sounds like you may need more speed for your turns. without that speed the nytro (and most rider forward sles) will flop on their sides. i am assuming by your name that you are female (not a bad thing), my wife has a similar issue and the same sled. we asked her to add alittle speed for her turns and side hilling when playing in the deep. it has helped alot. dont give up on the sled, it has little quirks that need to be worked out but it is a great sled. ski

the feel of a 4 stroke is totally different then a 2 stroke which you came from. This may not be what you want to hear, but give it time and keep riding the nytro. You will love it. the rider forward also is a whole new world. I'm coming from an apex to a nytro, and carving and sidehilling was a breeze compared to the apex. the thing i have to get used to is when coming down hill, the sled sometimes seems to have almost too much forward pressure, and it rides on one ski which was a little awkward. on the open hill, I couldn't keep up to a 2 stroke. I didnt' fare to bad, but not close. in the tree's and boonin, the nytro was a dream. keep us posted.

I had the same issue with my Nytro not wanting to climb and just trenching in when I first got it. I sucked up the limiter straps all the way and it was a night/day difference. With the straps pulled up its also not going to be as tippy so that should help you too.

As far as losing power, thats a clutching issue we've all been dealing with, there are a few good posts on it.

i would not suck those straps up, the sled is already to heavy in the front. I personally think its to much sled for most ladies, not all.. you just need some weight/muscle for it.. I have heard that you big huge ugly SLP??? wide ski make night and day difference as the nytro loves to dive/dart while sidehilling
