nah, we just dont like you drilling holes in everything that moves!!! :)

in all seriousness, looks really nice!!

Wow that is very nice. A lot better done than all the others I have seen on here. Very nice work.

hehe the nice thing about having a shop full of tools and materials...and knowledge of how to use them all!

i think i still would prefer that it'd be on the outside of the hole i think.
creates more of an angle for snow to slide or push off, and no place for it to pack into.

time/SNOW will be the only way to bring real world results though..and anything is better than a big open hole when you have 4' of snow shoveling into the engine! lol

Nice job, heres mine, I used pet screen and some cheap fog lights behind it. I hooked up the lights to the bright light switch so there not on all the time.

Is the minimal weight loss really worth the hassle and inability to see when you get stuck out after dark? Redbull's is the first I have seen with a light, looks nice. I am not a night rider but there are usually 10+ times a year when I get back to the truck after dark. As you probably guessed, I pack fuel.

They look nice but, what is the weight loss?

its not so much the weight loss as it is the air flow through the intercooler . i think im going to make a cover like every one else here but buy a helmet light instead of fooling around with piaa's again this year . Oh yeah all these head light deletes look wicked guys :beer;

I will probably put a vent in the front of the hood instead. It will be a more direct flow path to the intercooler.

Depends on the kit... Hood vent would be useful on the kits that put the intercooler up front, yes.

Impulse kits have the intercooler mounted in the radiators stock location.

The weight loss isnt the issue, I have a trubo and the intercooler is behind it, its to help the air flow mainly. I wouldnt do it to a stock sled.

Makes a little more sense now.

Personally I don't think that the MCX even needs the intercooler because it has an air/snow heat exchanger under the tunnel. Probably cools twice as much as the intercooler.
