Nytro custom headlight delete vent

Wow, not to hijack the tread but that intercooler is small, Im not saying that it isnt sufficient but it looks way smaller than the one on my Nw Turbo Works kit. Mine goes all the way across the front from brace to brace.

Nice looking screens guys, I just put my windshield over my old headlight hole for a couple of reasons. I put a couple cheap fog lights behind so I can ride at night and also the windshild is ridged so I drilled a couple of 1 inch hole and filled with screen to get air flow to the inercooler and radiator. The shape of the windshield help divert snow from my lap also. I went riding in 3 feet of fresh last weekend and it worked great, no snow in the engine area, yet plenty of flow to the intercooler.

My dad is in the middle of doing his turbo and I weighed his headlight and the little plastic frame work it sits on. Came in at 2.8 lbs. Pretty dumb to take out your light for that kinda weight

guys...guys...as stated above by others weight is not the issue. If i wanted to lose 2.8 lbs. i would take a sh*t. Airflow is what it is all about. Getting a C/A intake on these superchargers is tight...so i chose a different route. With the headlight delete vent i am getting air directly on my intercooler...not only that but my intake is directly behind the intercooler. Also the reason i chose to put the screen behind the hood is a cleaner look in my opinion, and also the more straight up and down that the vent is, the more air gets through...simple dynamics. And if i am not tired enough to be heading out before dark...i would imagine i did not ride hard enough...but i will have a spare light just in case.

Cheers,

Mike
