NW Colorado forecast

Ummmm.....just checked it. Chance of snow doesn't sound like it'll be a foot + producing storm. But who knows, I'll check it again tomorrow because chances are it will change completely!

Just a quick FYI. More often than not when they say big snow, you get 3". When they say 3", you get 12"+ and winds.

But keep in mind, this is a very bad year for avys. I saw that yesterday. Stay off the hills.

The best method/tool to predict snow in the moutains is to use a Snow Shovel... If you're Shoveling, it snowed, if you're not Shoveling, it did not snow.

Simple and VERY reliable. :face-icon-small-hap

SOCO is getting hammered. NWCO and NOCO cloudy and spitting. I have .25" of fresh pow on my Jeep since 5:30am

Yet another storm missing the north half. What the heck is going on???

We rode north of SLO this weekend - it was snowing pretty good this morning when we left. Not much on Rabbit Ears when we went through at noon, but I think it is snowing a lot more now.

The snow up there was a lot better than we expected - I'll see if any of the video came out and post it. There are lots of land mines, but no damaged sleds in our group. We put a lot of off trail miles in and were lucky I guess.....

and another huge wave coming in Saturday

Looks like I'll be notifying my boss that Monday will be a day not worked.

At least somewhere is getting something, we got downgraded down here to less than a half in for the rest of the week. Maybe Vail Resorts will get screwed after all.....
