Not happy with my blue LE sidepanels

So I get my sled from the dealer today about three hours away. My white skis and jacket weren't in yet but I already knew that going in. They brought out my blue panels all wrapped and in a box. I load the sled, drive three hours home and unload. Pull the blue panels out of the box and the brake side has a little gash, but the clutch side has a crap load of stress marks. So the blue plastic has lots of white lines in it. Gonna call the dealer tomorrow, but was wondering if anyone else had this issue. Will post pics in a bit.

That wouldn't work for me and I would hope your dealer stands behind it..
My dealer isn't the best priced but he takes care of me on everything else a dealer does for a customer.

Wow, that is bad. I ordered the same setup. I know blue plastic is bad for that but not right out of the box. I'm guessing those panels took a beating coming to the dealer (but I'm sure the sled will deliver more of a beating). I've been told that you can use a heat dryer on blue plastic and it works out the white stress marks. Let me know how that goes though, I don't want to be the first to try it on my new panels.

What are they going to look like after you roll your machine over a few times to get unstuck? Seen a few doos with the blue plastics after one season, not pretty.

Dealer should hook you up with new panels... Unacceptable right outa the box for sure.

Not really a problem with the stress marks. Use a heat gun or dryer and heat it and the white will fade. But they will come back when bending it, i know this from many years on blue plastic yamaha atv's.

Mine will look like that after the first or second ride so I guess it wouldn't bother me!!I have alway's been more on having a good running and riding sled then looks. However your dealer should replace!!

First time through the trees and you will forget all about it:face-icon-small-ton

Looks to me like those are painted blue which means they should not be showing stress like the doo blue side panels did which were blue plastic not painted. You got a bad set and they should give you new ones.

polaris panel come painted not molded, sen them back they have policies to deal with freight damage:face-icon-small-hap

^ That is correct and I agree. I wouldn't accept that on a brand new (anything).

Bought white panels last year. They looked fine, but I can't believe how they survived the shipping. The two panels barely fit in the box. There was a foam sheet 1/16" thick between the two panels and that was it.

Sweet.
Who is your dealer? I'm sure they'll take care of it.

I saw a white one at Hamilton the other day...LOVED the white...if it stays that nice looking. (check my pics in the "white LE" thread.)
