Nose Cone Snow

My guess is this has been covered when the Pro Chassis first came out, but thought I might bring it up as a concern being a ski-doo guy. Has there been any issues with excessive snow build up or ice in the front nose cone area that is open from the A arms on the Pro RMK. All the ski-doo's I have owned have been enclosed. There are also those two holes through the bulk head. Any issues there? See attached.

Cheers
Shawn

It does fill up in certain snow conditions. The belt is pretty well covered so it doesn't effect shifting

It is directly below the pipe and melts quickly. Some snow gets in but not much. If it is a concern, some have made plates to fill it in and I think SLP sells something. Others have just bought a couple of rubber plugs to fill the two holes. There were a couple of threads about this when the 11's came out. I left mine open and haven't seen it as a problem.

Two Pros in Colorado weather and never an issue.

Same here - I've had 4 Pro's and have two more on order and I don't have an issue with snow in thefront nosepan area. It might build up to the height of the swaybar but that is it. The area I have an issue with is by the chaincase - it fills with a 4lb chunk of stuff that needs to be removed every morning. It's waaaayyyy less on a belt drive, though.

Do you run any screens or extra vents, or is your sled all stock as far as the openings?
