Nor Cal Trail reports

Hi Everyone Im new to this site and Im trying to find out some info.
Im thinking about getting out this weekend for some sledding. I live here in foresthill and we dont have much snow here. Im thinking about eather Hopevalley Or little Truckee. Does anyone have a current conditions of eather location?
Any info is good Thanks.

Well guy's this year just flat out stinks for snow. Most years you can find riding areas all over northern Ca. North of Redding all around Mt Shasta, east of Chico and probably closet to Chico is Butte meadows. Then farther east, out of Westwood, Chester and Susanville. Up out of Portola/Grayeagle is some awesome stuff at Gold lakes. Then you have the mighty high Sierras around Truckee, Tahoe, Yuba pass, Sonora Pass etc.etc.etc. MOST YEARS.-- This year it's a crap shoot.

Albee,

Some of us in Norcal also hang out on www.westcoastsledders.com, its a local forum with a bunch of good guys to ride with. From what I've heard little truckee summit is probably your best bet for decent snow. I'd offer to ride with you, but for the time being my sleds are still in storage.

I'm also new to california from montana. I live in chico so if you here of anyplace to ride I would really appreciate any info anyone can give me.

I ride up by Mt. Lassen almost every week. Almost never see anyone else except for our group of riders.

I live up in Red Bluff but my parents have a place up there, so thats why I ride there almost exclusively. Let me know if you ever head up that way.

I live in Paradise and know some good riding around here but with the snow this year it's a little bit of a drive. Feel free to get a hold of me on here.
