Guys I need a report on snow conditions riding out of kamus for the Nobbletts area. I am wanting to take a first timer out for a little ride with her daughter on Saturday the 7th. They are saying that its supossed to get up to 76 so i'm getting worried the roads are gonna start melting off, I havent been up there since January so I don't know what its looking like up there. Does anyone know what the conditions are up there? Can you still ride the road in from the parking lot? Are they still grooming? Thanks

still 2-3' at the North Fork parking lot (soapstone road/ Mirror lake hwy). I can imagine its still good as for this weekend? Things can change fast.

Just to clairify I Might be thinking of a different area not sure what the name is but its right out of kamus through woodland (maybe its called woodland) there is a parking lot with an outhouse and then there is a gate across the road where they stop winter maintenece? I thought then sign there said something like nobletts but not sure if this is the same area. thanks guys

Nobletts was good last weekend, they like to start plowing around this time of year usually. Call UDOT 435-783-4502 before you head out and ask if they have started plowing yet, these guys would know. If not go to Mirror lake area or Fairview, both have rid-able snow into June on a bad year

So is what im thinking on hwy35 out of woodland called Nobletts then? I have never been to Mirrior Lake, do you just drive up hwy 150, where do you park? What do you think would be the best place to take her?

I called UDOT about hwy35 and he said they had started plowing from the Tabiona side. He said they were about 1 mile from the top but it would be a while before the road was open. He couldn't clarify how long "a while" was he said there was still alot of snow.

Hwy 35 = woodland = nobletts
Somone at the State owns a home or property or both around Tabiona and so they have this open the first of may reguardless of snow depth.

Hwy 150 = North fork = mirror lake
Park at the snow no matter the time of year, this is your best bet for late season trail riding, usually open by memorial day. I am thinking it will be tough to have this open by free fish day (June 11th) this year......depending on how much money UDOT wants to spend pushing snow the next few weeks could be later.

Tabiona side is plowed already. Found that out the hard way Saturday. Still a ton of snow on the Nobletts side. Even if the road is chit you can ride the pipeline up to the left just as you leave the parking lot.
