No head lights, tail lights or hand warmers

Installed the new connector tonight. Stator side is 16ga, voltage regulator side is 14ga

I previously cut the sh*t connector out and “loosely” crimp spliced them together to see if the lights worked. I labeled each side with colored tape

Removed my temporary splice connectors

Weather pack seals on the wires.

Weather pack terminals crimped on

4 terminal plug I’m using

Terminals pushed into each plug end and snapped together

Pictures of each side of the plugs

Plugs connected

And my headlights, tail light and hand warmers are back!!

I used this weather pack connector kit and tool

Might be a Tapatalk thing.
(I use the snowest website exclusively since photo uploads are supported now)

It opens the app on my iPhone 11 pro.
Seamless.

So glad this thread popped up. Just lost my headlight, taillight, and hand warmers on my 16. Has had me stumped, I’ll check this connector out tomorrow!

Wish I would have taken pics of my oe connector, it didn’t appear burnt, even disconnected it, looked fine. After looking really close I could see some melting inside by the terminals. And the back side of the connector where the wires go in had some
Melting inside.

So my electrical guru buddy has a Deutsch connector kit and came over to replace the fried stator connector. Got it all finished up fired the sled up and still no lights... turns out the plug connecting the voltage regulator to the stator wiring was ALSO fried. What a joke Polaris got Deutsch connectors now on both of them and I got lights again!
