[emoji1787] I’m very aware. This gauge is pissing me off.
I have a new one that should show up tomorrow. Hopefully I see it light up.

Y’all are confirming my instincts my cat will be basic guage. Don’t need the extra headaches.

Yeah my basic gauge works.

Yes, your headlights and running lights are a separate circuit. Should still work just like machine shoul# still run and get you home.

Sled runs perfectly fine. Lights come on when I start the sled. They used to come on if I turned the key to On.
Now they don’t, along with the gauge.

Tie-ing this one up!
New gauge came today. Plugged it in, turned the key, accent lights came on and the gauge boots right up.

Not sure if I should be happy or even more annoyed……..

Un-tieing this one. 😂
I am removing a few parts from my sled. 1 being the replacement 7s referenced in this thread that o bought a year ago.
The original (black screen) one has been sitting in a box in my office for a day like today. I took the replacement out and put the broken one back in. I thought I’d give the key a turn just for ****s!!! Would ln’t you know it, that gauge popped on like there never was an issue.
Huh!!!!!! 🤦‍♂️

Nobody in this thread has mentioned whether they had a battery or not, and if so, what the battery voltage is. Check the hood harness connector to the chassis very closely, try wiggling it with the engine running. Do the same for the connectors on the back of the 7SDD. 7SDD can also display voltage, that value is an important clue to the operation of the snowmobile.

If you get caught in ground fog or a snow squall, having your track on the way in, on your display could be very important to getting out, in addition to having latitude and longitude if involved in a search and rescue

Good point on the battery. I do/did have a battery. It was one of the things I did check at the time when troubleshooting. I even hooked up to a charger to be sure.
At this point I have no idea other than I now have an extra 7s. I’ll put it on the Axys. Maybe it’ll keep working or maybe not, worth a shot.
