I am in Hawaii until November. Going to miss the Snow Show in Denver. I wanted to check out the new sleds up close. But this place sucks!!! No one had one on the floor!?! Can't wait to get out of here, they keep asking why I'm leaving. I tell them because there is no snow here....how do these people live like this?

I think they substitute new sleds in the fall to look at with hot babes in bikinis year round....

Hawaii is the one place I would drop everything and move to. I could learn to enjoy the laid back lifestyle, surfing, bikinis, snorkeling, bikinis, lava man red ale, mai tais, and spam! Moco Loco has to be the best breakfast I have had in a long time.

And by the way, on the Big Island, there is a ski slope on Mauna Kea. Nothing like our slopes but they do have snow once in awhile.

Moco is good, now the snow is not epic up there. Spam is a delicacy. And are those really considered Bikinis, or clothing? Near neked bronze girls around here, all over. I am living on the beach at Waikiki.

Enjoy! You always covet what you don't have.

It's hard to be unhappy or stressed when this is your view.

It snows up on the volcanos doesnt it? if there was enough it would truley be a paradise. sledding ,diving and surfing in the same day! thats paradise

I'd love to Summer there, but Winter is where my heart is, as I see that is where your's is also. It's only 30 days away so be safe, have fun and then hit the snow.

thats it! I want to be the first to ride a boosted sled in hawaii !

I want the heli to pick me up at the beach

you need to trailer to the top of mona kea and unload. pull some skiers to top.

first time i was in Wai ki ki, i heard an add on the radio for a ski and snowboard shop. it snowed at the top (13K) and they started running ads....pretty funny.

so one of my zen moments in life was surfing Wai Ki Ki and then exactly 2 days later i was making big powder turns on rollins pass.

ye fn ha

I'll be flying into Maui in late Feb...I'll be sure to get pics of Mauna Kea from up in the air if I can.

useless hawaii trivia...

mona kea is actually taller than mt everest. if you measure from the ocean floor where it starts, it's 33K feet high (13K above water)

crazy

and they say you dont learn anything on this forum....

We will be heading up there. A friend of mine is working at Mauna Kea Observatory. Hope to get a good tour if he can swing it.
