Nice Short little film. Please watch, and help me out.

Is there a minimum length requirement for the contest?
Yes, it just has to be under 5 minutes
The film was a good length for other riders to watch, because we're interested in sledding. Most people who aren't into sledding will lose interest in a film if it isn't fast paced and short. I'd recommend cutting down the length, taking out the car scenes is a start. K
I also think there's a few clips that were probably a lot more interesting if you were actually there and that's why they made it into the film...but for the viewers who weren't there these scenes slow the movie down.any particualr ones?
I'd also roll credits immediately after the tree crash and delete or move that last powder scene. Or roll credits over an extended powder riding scene.
Just my thoughtsThe credits won't actually be shown so I just threw somthing up quickly. the movie will end with with the tree crash
...over all a good movie with good riding, keep up the great work!thank you!

great video! that last part was funny but must have sucked. literally, the only tree around haha.

awesome clips and some great riding! well done! let us know if you win the film festival.

I agree with the above along with maybe a little better intro, something along these lines.......

I love that intro its cool original and just flows-shows some editing abilities. Maybe a better song as well-Have you heard of the Flobots songs called handlebars i think it would go well too not over the top but still has some beat it would keep every one happy.

One other side note that might give you the edge would be to catogorize the shots-like deep pow shots, crashes, sidehilling, jumping and than your crash into the treee.

Just some food for thought. I liked the film so far and best of luck with the competition.:face-icon-small-coo

I've said this before about that clip; the intro is awsome because the song is set up for that type of intro. But the rest of it doesn't show much ability at all because all of that video is already edited by THC so to just throw a transission between the clips is now that impressive.

Too late to change it now!

The catagory thing is interesting because That's how I stated but on the old forum I got an overwelming response to mix it up instead?

Nice one

:)Great video, Isn't it funny how sleds have a natural ability to square up on the only tree on the hill.

I agree on taking out the car COMPLETELY.

One out of focus shot and rider enters left then up hill to jump.
I just don't like out of focus shots unless it fixes on something or is part of a fade out.

Personally I would not end the film with the wreck. What kind of inspiration and feeling are you left with this being the last thing you see of the film?
Sled owners and tree huggers are both experiencing shock and awe.

I would end with a ride off to sunset or a slow motion fade out on a jump and fade out while still climbing from the jump. Demonstrates happy trails ahead or uplifting experience.

IMHO
