^ well, these last few rides i've been breaking in my new motor. depending on how this week turns out i'll probably be going to gold creek again (if there isn't a ride scheduled anywhere else) to turn some miles and burn some gas.

From the latest NWAC report:
In several recent releases, slides were remotely triggered from adjacent and different exposure slopes, which indicates that fracture propagation within the fragile underlying and very faceted snowpack is extending long distances and remains quite reactive to added stresses.
This means you can trigger a slide WITHOUT EVEN CLIMBING THE SLOPE!!!
Read the reports and pay attention to your terrain.
