Get a cabin at the flying saddle they're really nice and not over priced for what you get. Breakfast is always good at Yankee doodles can't go wrong with anything there. Gunnar's pizza is great for after a long ride but it's pretty pricey but it's good. Then there's the bull moose if you want to hit up a bar at night the food there is great. Oh and head to the greys canyon parking lot and there's plenty of riding from there. Also I've heard way good things about rockin m ranch never stayed there but heard its great and they could set you up with a guide.

is there any online maps of riding there, cant really come up with a good map

Stay at Flying Saddle Resort, lots of great places to eat at in town but the best food is right at the resort. Unload at the greys river parking lot and head east up the canyon. Lots of areas to chose from. We ride Squaw Creek and North Murphy drainage a lot. Most all our backcountry clinics are held up there. Quick 10 min trail ride from the parking lot and Squaw bridge is on your right hand side. You can follow that trail south and it will take you up to a place we call the "Bowls". Its a non groomed trail back in there and requires you to climb 2 big chutes. Not bad but i wouldnt recomend it if you dont have some decent back country experience. It is by far the coolest place once you make it up there... Many segments in Slednecks have been filmed in this location. If you are looking for a more tamed ride you can always follow the trail east to the Box Y area or north up little greys to Elk Mountain. Like i said lots of areas to chose from. As long as the snows good you really cant go wrong. I work with Dan Adams at Next Level Riding Clinics so maybe a clinic would interest you or a guided trip. We are currently in the process of incoporating backcountry guiding into the buisiness so that can be an option to you also. Feel free to PM me with anymore questions, thanks!

where to stay

The Moose Knuckle or something.....Great strippers, thusday, Friday and Saturday!

HAHAH its the Bull Moose Saloon.... Dancers from all over(Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming) come here to dance now just fridays and saturday nights. Best place to stay is Flying Saddle still... We send all of our clientel that come for clinics there.

Hi this is Rob owner and operator of the Rockin M Ranch. Yes, the Flying Saddle is a nice place to stay and we also send overflow to them when we are full. We are totally different products. They are a hotel with onsite food, bar and a small section of cabins clustered together. Although they have nice cabins, they are nowhere near the size or quality of ours. We sit on a 100 plus acrea property with plenty of room for trailer parking and riding directly to the west. All of our cabins have full kitchens with everything needed to cook plus a gas barbeque grill on the deck. Our cabins also have gas fireplaces and direct TV. Two hottubs sit within 100 feet of most cabins. Cabins have a large table in the front room to hang out and socialize, play cards, drink beer, barbeque, or whatever. We built the place for the person looking for a real cabin experience not a cabin 10 foot from another and another next to the hotel parking lot. If you would like to look at another option beside a hotel check us out at:http://rockinmranchwyoming.com
I have been guiding snowmobile tours and hunting trips in these mountains since 1993. I would be happy to sit down with a map and get you headed in the right direction or guide you personally. I am also the only outfitter in the area that can guide on the Idaho side. Great boondocking over there. We also rent Polaris and Ski-Doo snowmobiles.

Rob
