Newbies to Greenwater

Taken 2 new riders to greenwater. What gate is closed? Stuck riding the road or drive to end of asphalt?

things could change by tomarrow morning/sat or sunday if it keeps dumping, just be prepared and bring chains that fit your vehicle probably at uppr snow park (end of asphalt) and if temp falls some who knows, but f.s. isn't going to close big gate till they wake up and start patrolling area about 8 to 9 am sat morning and i see no snow on whistlin jacks cam (usually a good indicator for lower gate). there just my 2 cents.

Parking was at upper gravel pit thurs night

Was there yesturday with the girlfriend, Gate was open and parking was at the gravel pit. Tomorrow parking should be at the snowpark but x2 on the chain thing if conditions get really bad. Terry

We had a good day despite less than ideal visibility. Anyone know what was up with all the S&R? THey took over the cabin and were not a very friendly group.

think they said something about practicing mountain rescue and were waiting for another group to show, probably not happy it was snowing.
