Ride it for a while, and get used to it, then think about dropping weight off the beast.
Scratchers, loose the boogie wheels. Lots of people like to pull the sway bar, you can remove it without cutting it. Lightweight can. Lightweight hood, Lightweight Seat.
I still have 2 ZX's, can't convince myself to sale one of them. It's actually a really good sled.

Does that look like an '03 to anyone else? or is it just me? I dont think the '02s had "SKI-DOO" like that on the hood and I dont think they had orange / yeller option either..

the guy i got it from said it was an olympic edition and it has the sway bar removed, shock covers 2" risers and yellow led's
thats no 02. or Olympic Edition. Deffinatly a 03. go on the ski-doo site and previous models. i beleieve its in there.

Correct me if i'm wrong but every parts website or anything that i have found only gives two year options for a 700 Summit. That's 2000 and 2001. Did they make 700's after that?

yeah go to ski doo web site and previouse models it only goes back to 03 but they still have them

i cant find anything on the internet..... but the guy said its an 02 but he bought it in 03

looks like an 03 to me. it isn't an 02 spring check. they are black and yellow (see my profile pic) look at the Vin, the number before the V coresponds with the year .....3V0000.... (2003 model)

yeah i believe so the guy said there was like only 1500 made espishly for the olympic
Does it have RER? If so, is the RER switch on the handlebars or on the right front fairing close to the pull starter handle? If it is on the fairing it is an 02'. If it is on the left handle bar switch cluster, it is an 03'.
