Honestly, the Yamaha holds just a little bit more on the skid than a 2014 M8. Not sure why might be paint vs powdercoat I am not sure. But both M8 and Yamahacat hold little to no snow depending on the day. I was skeptical when I read that but seeing it in person makes it hard not to believe.

Ya know, that is actually a really good question.

Without snow will be easy.
But weighing it a few times in the middle of the day while we are riding WOULD be of some real interest.

Just not sure how to set that up..

Chain hoist from a tree with a scale. Would be pretty easy to weigh it in an as ridden condition.
Well that might be an issue around here since we don't have any redwoods to hook it from
