New Track On Apex Mountain Help Please!

Hey everyone,
Im looking to switch over my 2.25 maverick track thats on my Apex Mountain now because I think its a horrible track. Wears and tears easy and just isn't really competition compared to the other mountain tracks.

I wanted to get the 16x162x2.5 challenger extreme track but the mechanic at our dealer here said it would be to hard on the trails.

So I was thinking I could go with the 15x162x2.25 power claw track that Cat makes for the M series.

Any thoughts and ideas?

get the camo extreme, my buddy went from a 2.25 up to the 2.5, and he says he notices it vibrating a little more on the trail, but the traction is worth it. the apex needs the deep lugs to push its heavy self around!
