Yeah man, OBVIOUSLY you can tell there's some people you want to avoid^^^^, but I won't mention any names [coughquadswestcough]

Lots of good riding here though... even if the riding buddies are douchebags like us.:face-icon-small-win

Thanks guys I already feel at home!! Can't wait to go and ride some new places that aren't a 3 hour drive for me... The Snowies are great but I know there is more riding to do than that and I don't have to spend the night anywhere so that makes the Mrs. happy, kinda... anyone who wants to let me into they're groop just hit me up with a text, im saving all that has so far so we can be in touch!!

You've got a bunch of jackazzes at home too? Do you live at, like a group home or something?:face-icon-small-sho

I feel for you bro. If I had to live with guys like most of us... I'd just end it!:face-icon-small-con

We ride grand county a lot & if you're up for getting off the ground, shoot me a PM, always up for having folks along that are willing to push a little!

P Money, Another douchebag here, according to that Quadswest fellow. He likes to give post ride hand jobs, I hear. LOL

On a serious note, you can show up at almost any popular riding spot and ask most anyone if you can ride with them for the day. Nearly everybody will say yes.

I prefer riding Rabbit Ears/Buffalo Pass (it's 20 minutes from me) and there are always guys from both forums there every weekend. Or you can just walk up to the truck (at the Muddy Creek lot on RE) with a fire pit next to it and ask the guy there if you can hang with him (Bushmaster, great guy.)

BCIL and Quads hang out on Corona and Jones. Never been there but hoping to hit it this year.

Congrats on the move to CO and I hope you enjoy it.

If you ever wanna carpool to Corona or Jones let me know. I can meet ya in silverthorne.

So your the douchbag sending random people to my camper :face-icon-small-dis

Nope, he's the first. I was just thinking that a wonderful fellow such as yourself would be happy to help, since you practically live there on weekends. :face-icon-small-coo

If I go the Corona way, most likely would go on Hwy 40 through Granby. Jones, I will definatly be coming through Silverthorne. I hate dragging a trailer over Berthoud.

:pound:Great riding with new peeps, showing them the darkside of the ears and then never seeing them again. lol Nooo, I remember some of those days a few years ago, when we'd have 15 guys massing in one huge group. We'd take off and within an hour about half of them would disappear. Still not sure what happened to those people :face-icon-small-con :tape2:

True story, but they aint free. :rose::wine:

i'll only say yes if you have avy gear (beacon, shovel, probe, avy bag) and know how to use them. No gear, no ride.

Welcome to Snowest! Like what's already been said, lots of good guys to ride with on here. We've shown a few stragglers around from time to time....quick question, though, what kind of sled do you have and what kind of riding do you seek? That will help let people know which group you'll have the most fun with.

They followed Mark, never to be seen again.

Same here, but if they don't I offer my spare set. I don't have a spare avy bag tho. A little to rich for my blood to have two of them.

what up money
another OO er here i have some similar days off
we usually go to vail for a day trip, its just less than 2 hours drive for me (se aurora) rabbit ears for an overnight in the camper.
what sled you got

Ha

This place is grrrrreat!! You guys are too much, I love it, I dunno why I didn't join sooner!! My friends and family treat each other much of the same way, friends mainly when it comes to hand jobs. I am kinda of a jackass myself once you get to know me so I am used to be treated the same way. To answer a few of the same questions, I ride an 08 Doo 154, new sled to me. Used to ride an 04 Poo 800 151 Vertical Edge, great sled, and an 05 600 Switchback, we still have them both up in the Snowies... Anyways I don't mind riding trails to get where im going, usually looking for some meadows full of fresh white stuff, who doesnt love those? I'm not much of a hillclimber but it is fun sometimes. I hate to dissapoint and I hope guys will still let me ride with ya, I don't have any formal avalanche training, I do alot of reading and am very willing to learn and listen to what others tell me to stay away from. I do carry a shovel and probe, but I don't have a beacon. I know I need to get one and practice, but money has ran out for the season, everything left is for gas and oil, but it is next on the list I promise!! So did I just shoot myself in the foot? I am a careful rider when it comes to that mainly because I'm freaked out that I don't carry a beacon, but I am not a newbie either.
So I hope to be riding with some of you guys soon, I still wanna ride on the 6th or 7th next week if anyone can!! Shoot me a text if your down or wanna roll out some other time!! R.P. 720-347-5221 Thanks!!
P

First legit comment in the thread.

If you're not from here & plan to ride with guys nearly ANYWHERE around here, you NEED to get education & gear.

Don't think of riding in the places we ride without gear.

If you've got gear & know how to use it... I'll just STFU now!!:tape2:
