I ride cat but bought a new pro 800 for a buddy that's working in the states. My cat is getting a big bore and im riding the poo for the weekend. Any thing I HAVE to buy right away for it besides plugs and belt? Is it recommended to grab a quick drive belt? Can it be changed on the side if the hill? Thanks!

If it is brand new you won't be riding it very hard. You need to be rather easy on the QD belt while it's breaking in. 100 miles of easy riding minimum. I have an extra belt but see no reason bring it with me every time I ride. I did keep it in the trailer at first because of the hysteria behind it but have not blinked an eye since. Have fun.

Bring a spare belt. Why ruin a day when it so easy to carry and change. Even if you leave it at your truck it would still be 2 hours of down time. And your buddy will have to go back alone to get it. That opens up a whole new set of problems. What if he has issues with his ride? Then your both stuck alone with no idea what going on with whom ever you sent to get a belt you left in your truck. Carry it with you.

We did the recommended Polaris break in, and took it easy on the QD belt for the first 84 miles. It now has 600+ miles which 500+ miles were in the mountains. Zero problems. As far as anything you have to buy? I would say, insurance, oil, gas, and you should take more time off from work!:musicnote::musicnote::musicnote:
