New to me 2011 Pro RMK

while you're there i would definitely put the updater motor mount(s) in.

I have an 11 with 650 miles and a broken rod sticking out the block.

I am dropping in an Indy Dan LRTM3 this week, hoping it will take care of any problems.

I have read about the mount update, but what is it?

Can I just pick up some mounts for a 12?

Yes. The engine mount update can also be bought as a kit.

The updated parts are four bolts and improved rubber bushings.

Don't worry your not the only one doing a rebuild in the start of the season. My pro has about 980 miles on a new warranty motor and it already was showing signs of damage. It might of been OK for this season but warranty expired in October so I wasn't going to chance it. I'm going with an Indy Dan top end. Nobody else on the market right now gives out a warranty on a top end. Plus I want to try out the new HG7 cylinder plating that he offers. Good luck with the rebuild and yes you definitely will enjoy the pro ride chassis once you get a chance to ride it!

I just assembled the new HG7 finish top end in my sled two weeks ago, looks and feels impressive.

I had it out in the mountains too but wasnt sure on the difference as this is also the first ride of the year for me. I was getting a miss/cutout after 10+seconds of wot, think it was DET. The HG7 setup is much tighter fit/seal than the old setup, probably just needed more high octane fuel.
