So........
I "may" be in the market for a new track and I've been reading and well reading some more! I issue I have is, I went with a 155 Khaos 9 for the new 24 and I haven't been on a 155 length sled since about 2013!! Over the last 10 years its been a new 163 /165 sled every other year and now I'm going to try this 155 as an experiment. The 165's have been great and the only real draw back is, like everyone says you lose some of that "playfulness".
Obviously with the crap year so far and traveling we have done, I haven't even had a chance to have the new iron out yet but a trip is right around the corner. At this point I'm just trying to do some pre-planning, in case I do NOT like the 155 and need to make a quick swap to a 165. From what I have been reading, I'm somewhat leaning towards a 300LX???????? I don't think I want to go 3.25 as I want something that fits the bill for a little wider range of snow conditions.
As far as the type of snow or riding areas, this would consist of Cooke City, West Yellowstone, Island Park, Snowy Range, Encampment and the rare Big Horns trip.
At this point, I'm just looking for any thoughts or advice so I have a finalized plan if this happens to not work out.
Thanks ahead of time guys!!
