Go ask Ford how they can make 350HP with a 3.5 DI Econoboost V6 that has 2 small turbo's, in the SHO 10.2:1 compression. Non DI combo would be asking for issues.

Probably the same way we make 350 HP with a 10:1, 1.0 Liter 4 cylinder. :D

LOL, for sure, not to mention it requires 110 octane fuel as well.

Isn't it crazy how sled prices have practically doubled. I bought a 2002 800 Mtn Cat brand new in the fall of 2002 for $6,300. It was a leftover but still...

Everything is getting ridiculously stupid expensive!!!

Go price a new 450 dirtbike, better yet price a side-by-side!!! You can build one hell of a Jeep or FJ for what a new Ranger or Rhino costs.

Now we will be able to build a slightly used turbo (any brand) sled for what a new one will cost.

Hmmmm.....Let's see, a new 800r DI or a M8,D8, Nytro turbo!!!

Aint that the truth. I had an old Samurai and I rebuilt the motor, swapped in waggy D44's with lockers, install kits, all new bearings and brakes, T-case gears, new shocks, shackles and shackle reversal, wheels, new 35" TSL's, ect. ect. I think I was still under $6,000 in parts(including the Sami) when I parted it out.

And you had a radio, heater, real seats, etc., etc!!!! That's what I'm talking about!

The price of these new sleds is getting to the same ridiculous point of the side-by-sides!!!

I dont get where these manufacturers think all these people with money are?

Seriously at $13,000 a sled ($4,000.00 more than I bought my old summit new for) how many people do they think will be busting down the door?

I would rather spend $5,000 considering the fact that new or used I am going to have to work on the damn thing...

The reason they keep boosting the prices is because noone really goes out and pays 12 grand for a sled. They rely on banks for loans, like alot of us, and until banks stop giving out loans to any joe on the street, sled sales will continue to go up along with the sticker price.
