"New Single Track Trail" Sidewinder

BTW-just got done watching Slednecks13, I think a few of those guys in that video have an issue(or two) to work out! Chris Burnandt's clip-was the best part of the video-IMO

Yeah, his clips are the only ones worth watching. He can tear it up but for 30 bux, I'll catch it on YouTube. I really enjoy watching the Boondockers vids and Braaap! Both have amazing technical riders who just enjoy riding and they won't hesitate to sit down and have a greasy burger and beer with the guys. Last year's Thunderstruck was pretty damn good too.

SSWIM- we rode Fairview,Gold Creek,Fossil,Mc Intire and ended with go fashion butt kicken on Bear trail. That's a neat area and alot less people than Taylor or CB.

Yes, the Pitkin area is definitely a fun area. Like you said, not nearly as many people as CB and Taylor. Have you ridden the area around Rico? Calico trail and Stoner Mesa area? It is another great area with no one on the trails.

SSWIM-been on Calaco(sp?)-but we got snowed out at mile 7 -One of the guys in are group this weekend said the Rico rides can be epic- this is after we did some of the harder trails in Pitkin. He invited me down this weekend, but I don't think I'll be able to make it. The sledding is pretty good in that area to, Barlow Creek is one of my favorites. (gets hit hard on weekends) sounds like you rough stuff on your MC? I'm about ready to lose this thread(Cheap Membership)-we should start another one call Colorado toughtest single tracks- We have some mean stuff out in Dry Creek-West of Montrose-

Al,

Used to do a lot of single track. Have not the last few years. Did Rico a couple of weeks ago. Around 60 miles. Great time. The Battlements, on the Parachute side have a couple of really tough sections. I have never seen anyone on the loops to the west of the lakes. I am sure you have done the Bookcliff trails. Make a big loop up 25 road and over to Cottonwood trail. Many, many more that is for sure. Great idea on the single track thread.
