My friend is wanting to get into snowmobiling he's 6'2 150lbs kind of a lighter build. What would be the best for boondocking and some hills? He only wants to spend 3500.

Yup. M7 first choice. IQ chassis rmk 600 2nd.
Find an 06 skidoo rev 151 ... still one of the best sleds for that kind of riding.

M7 or M8. Cats are bullet-proof for the most part. Only downfall to the M7 is they dont have reverse which can be really annoying at times (such as unloading your sled from the truck)

-2006ish Rev 800
-2007 RMK 600 (could always do a 660 kit later!)
-2007 Dragon 700 if you can find one at that price
-M8 if you can find one at that price.
I think the M7 is a good sled too. There were some bog issues that some people fixed and some didn't. It also doesn't have reverse which might not seem like a big deal but it is for me with my IQR.
