Just wanted to let everyone know Zbroz racing is releasing a 36" wide ArsFx arm kit for the Pro RMK and older too. This kit will be the next evolution for backcountry riding and technical maneuvers. They are in stock now. :face-icon-small-hap

Quote from Z-BROZ, "Only major drawback is if you run stock shocks you will need to purchase a spring kit with internal spacer and also a shorter eyelet. All of which we will make available to customers."

From experience, I can tell you that their EXIT shocks are one of the best improvements you can make on a pro rmk and will result in the ultimate benefit with this kit.

It seems anything that comes out of Logan is top shelf these days. Thanks guys for the susp support over the years....

Have been predicting for a while that trying to find a way for a narrowing front end is where we should be going. The body work on sleds attempted made it a poor result. IMHO, a cross between the snow bikes (purpose built) and a narrow sled is where the mountain sled industry is headed. Light and nimble, allowing a different type of riding to develop and access to different types of terrain.

rant over...

hear hear lol.
Long time coming.

36" 144 2.5" 400 lbs even.

Now we are back to heavily modded mid 90's machines with modern suspention, track and fuel injection. Start of the mountain sled.

Everything goes in circles.

400# WET and ready to ride is very near a reality for a modest investment in time and money.

400 wet? No way. They are a little over 500 wet now. 100lbs on this sled would cost $20,000. 40-50lbs easy then we are at 450 wet but not 400. Unless you know something I don't...

I see it as very achievable, I built 430# wet full mod sleds twenty years ago, granted they only had a 1 gallon fuel cell as they were competition climbers and cost about thirty thousand each with out any labor whatsoever. I think one could rectify the few short comings of the PRO and achieve that. For under twenty large? Probably not, but that is an individual preference.

We are way off topic from the OP.

That ain't no rant, Lynn. I've been saying that for a while now. Eventually we may find that sleds will look more like motorcycles than sleds from the 90's.

Modest investment? Modest as in NASA LOL. I was tickled to build my first sub 400 dry sled. 1995 Phazer 136 2". Never done it since lol.

Zbros how will these shocks fit with a set of your exits off a 2012? And if they don't what do you charge to shorten them? Also what kind of weight loss are these arms on a 2013?

So I have a 13 Pro coming and was planning on getting the ZBroz set of 39" a arms. I was planning on using the stock shocks. Now I can't decide to go with the 36" arms or the 39" arms. What are some opinions on the 36" arms compared to the 39"?

I am confused... I want to do some narrow, but 36 or 39?
I'll buy both and will try all of it. :D

no away 400 wet, There are 100lbs of fluids in a sled. And no one can even measure dry weight, Were even talking oils in the shocks, Simply impossible to get a dry weight so just focus on ready to ride weights
