New impulse kit HP?

Anyone got a guess on what the stand alone 17lb kits are making? Just curious.

I cannot say for hp but Pauls personal sled at 17lbs on pump at 10k ft has stayed neck and neck with a big power Impulse apex and a M1200T that are well into the 300 range. Track, skid, rider etc are factors in racing obviously but it is really fast at 17lbs. Ask Zeb or Product Tester. They both have very fast sleds and it is right there and Zebs is the fastest sled I have been around

I rode it last spring and it goes just like a MCX 280 kit. I wouldn't think it could make any more than that at 17 lbs with the low compression he is running. The Nytro are faster than the Apex at same boost with stock motors. Don't know why...just are.

it is suposed have 10 hp per pound of boost yamaha says 130 stock so 17lbs would equal 300 hp. i have bought a new nytro and pg impulse turbo can't wait to ride it.

270,280,300...you probably won't even notice the difference anyway. Clutching, gearing, suspension setup can make a big difference, as well as what track you use and how it hooks up. They all rip
