New Guy In Town

I just Moved to Wyoming about 4 months ago. i am living in laramie. i am from colorado and have never riddin in wyo. i heard alot of good things about it but im looking for some people to ride with. i am fairly experienced rider looking for a good challenge. i am very familiar with rabbit ears pass colorado if anyone is intrested in making a trip there this year. thank you

Great riding in the Snowies. Look me up in a couple months and we'll go ride. I've heard Rabbit Ears is ok, but doesn't compare much to the Snowies.

The Snowy's are good, once you get used to the wind! Ears would be fun sometime, only ever been there in the summer!

ya hopefully i can adapt to the high wind. ill probley go to rabitt ears twice a month if you want to tag along, the north side has most of the big hill climbs and if you go back to the north bowl there is some good boondockin, the south side is all boondocking and short tech hill climbs. theres alot of realy noce meadows on the south side that never get touched and thats usaualy what i do is bounce from meadow to meadow while boondockin.

Didn't mean to dis on Rabbit Ears, that's just what I've heard. Would like to check it out sometime though.

no worries i didnt take it that way, i dont nock on any mountain riding, i usualy take what i can get for riding as long as its not flat lander. im just realy hoping to learn the snowies as well as i know colorado i hear there awsome.

You should learn the snowies well since you are so close.:face-icon-small-hap
I'd ride up there several times a week if it was only a half hour drive from my place.

You'll like the snowies. Many more opportunities to get lost too, be careful.

I've been to Rabbit a handful of times and liked it too.

Went there once last year for the first time and i had a blast. Good place to ride, i counted over 120 rigs in the parking lot and it didnt not seem like that many people were up there. I want to go back there some more this year. You should for sure like it up there!

We've ridin both the Ears and the Range. I dont know my way around Colorado enough to warrant too many trips. I do however know The Range and like all the different topography it has to offer. Keep in touch and we will go hit it this winter.

Look me up sometime. I will have days off during the week if you want to do some riding. Shannon 760-4460

heck ya thats my back yard i know that pass inside and out so if anyone wants to go there i will gladly show everyone around. theres some good climbs and and some awsome boondocking.

I rode the ears twice. Both times were un-guided and had a blast both times. Would love to have someone that knows it in and out show me it sometime!

Snowies are a bit closer, but haven ridden both, and can say the Ears does compare! The range has more to offer, but the ears are awesome as well!
