Enough of the "buy the premiumn membership". We really dont need to reignite the fire. I dont agree with harris publishing politically or philisophicaly. I dont believe they need my 20$, when sites like this are supported with advertising dollars. PS how much of your $ goes to Mitts campaign fund????

I can tell you that they are coming up on 1000 kits sold with no issues. That alone speaks volumes to me. I'm putting one in mine.

The way they explained the kit to me made perfect sense, and 1100 miles later it's still kicking ***. Considering a turbo now that it's good and broke in.
The kit includes: Pistons, wrist pins, rings, head bolts, dowel pins, spacer plate, 1 base gasket and instructions. You will need to supply all new gaskets/O-rings that would be needed for a piston/topend re&re, as well as new wrist pin bearings. Consider a Power Addiction head as well. Kit and head really woke my engine up.

Forget it - just phoned Power Addiction racing and ordered it. $340.00 for another 20HP, 45 minute install....SOLD!!!

He told me just dyno'ed the 13.5:1 version, mixed in some C10 and made 20HP over stock (he also used his pipe).
Lol, no need to get Douschey pal. A pipe with a high comp head and race fuel is a much diffferent scenario. No head alone will gain 20 hp.

It is true MTNTK is coming up on a 1000 kits sold, these kits have been a life saver for a lot of Dragon or RMK 800 owners. We Hooked up With MTNTK in early 2009 and started testing THE FIX KITS on about 3 sleds they ran great, the customers were so grateful, they had just had a whole season with no problems and a new confidence in their D8’s. They said it felt like a whole new animal after THE FIX KIT WAS INSTALLED. Then it was on to test #2 with a full on rental company in West Yellowstone MT, High MARK RENTALS with RON his number is 406-640-1055 or www.highmarkrentals.com, he was having one or two dragons burning down every weekend, He put 5 kits in(a ton more since then) and has not had a burn down since. We thought this was pretty good for how rentals get hammered.

MTNTK has over 40 Dealers nationwide including Alaska, and in Canada.

Well, ordering the first kit for a customer today. 08 Dragon, 1200 miles since update, came in for preseason maintenance, pulled the exhaust valves to clean them and the piston faces are scuffed. Pulled it down last night and both the exhaust side and the bottom of the intake side are scuffed. Not too bad though and the cylinder looks fine.
Gonna try the Fix...
