headlight is probubly the big one, and imo i would want ot keep the guage so you would eng up mounting it on the bars. If it's $500 there is no way i would buy that. I think fastrax sells a carbon fiber hood for around $300?

Now if it was more like $150-200 i would be interested. That is just me. On a side note, how much for the bords?

haha well to be fair i did get soem discounted stuff from fastrax last year to build my open mod 09 dragon. So i may be partial. However IMO, i would rather have a vented carbonfiber hood that keeps the guage in stock loaction and offers near the same weight loss.

But that is just me. I am just some *** hole with an opinion.... I have lots of them. IMO, carbon fiber is DEAD sexy too.

What would keep that from working.

The silber turbo has a new intake plenum so depending on the hood it may or may not fit is what people are asking I believe. Don't really have details on the Silber intake yet though other than it replaces the stock plenum.

There really is no need to bag on them for what they want for it or bring up other mfgs into this thread...

How would you feel if you made a new product that you are proud of and put a lot of work into ... then took the time to post a thread to tell people about your product.... and your fellow members came on to your thread and said that Joe 6-pack had this, or your price is not right... NOT COOL!!

Website shows an instrument pod for those of us that would want to keep the gauge . . . and would allow an alternate light mounting base.

A little constructive criticism and Mountainhorse gets his shorts in a knot .
IMO , it's a nice hood that could use light and gauge mounts but looks like it would do very well at getting rid of under hood heat.
