Never Had to Use the Klim Warranty

There has been a lot of talk lately about the Klim warranty, which I feel is awesome. While after sales support is crucial, and a primary motivator in most of my purchases, I have been using Klim products for some time now and have never had to take advantage of it. I have a variety of products, including high wear items such as gloves. The three pairs of Klim gloves I own have not had a single stitch pull, leak or any other issue.

While I know that any product can have an issue from time to time, and the circumstances and an evaluation often determine warranty coverage, great gear never has to take advantage of a warranty.

How many people here have had Klim gear they have put miles on without any kind of issue at all? Please keep this on topic. If you have a problem or a complaint please use an appropriate thread for that discussion.

This will be our 5th year with ours, and no issues. Hubby has ripped his britches in a couple of spots (his own fault), but I sewed those up and used snoseal over. Been very happy with our gear. :) I did customize my jacket and backpack with bright pink fabric paint over the lettering, and used permanent market to go over the stitching on our britches (mine is hot pink, his is green). :face-icon-small-hap

I have klim pants, and use klim gloves, have had them for several yrs. there had been nothing short of complete satisfation from myself and the quality of there product. The gloves have a good life for the abuse that goes into them. Never have I been unsatisfied with a pair of Klim gloves (except when you burn them on the stove they don't hold up) I have 4 pair though the season, 2 pair of old ones from last yr, and 2 new pair for the new season. I run like that every yr. Klim pants well there very good quality and are very durable, 2 seasons on current pair no rips, all zippers still work great, no failures at all. As far as useing any warranty on Klim gear well I must say the only thing that would justify useing it would be zippers or factory defect. A person has to realize the mean stuff we do to our riding clothes and make a determination based on the abuse we put our gear throgh.

Just my two penn'ys

I have had my pants for almost 10 years now and my butt is just now starting to get wet after a days ride. My jacket is the same way. Some people see lifetime warranty and think they never have to pay for a pair of gloves again, even though they do wear out over time. The most issues on here are from gloves, which are the have the highest wear of anything we wear while riding. If my gloves blew out after a year I would buy a new pair and not whine it about on the forum boards that KLIM didnt replace them.

It gets pretty old in my opinion.
