NEUTRAL Pro 800 DYNO Tests Comparing Stock Head Vs. RK Tek Patented Head

So...a 6-7 hp gain? I don't know why everyone gets all wrapped up in the hp numbers. I would be happy if they would make an engine that lasts me more than 1500 miles. Mine works great when it runs. Well enough that an extra 6-7 hp probably isn't going to make that much difference. How much horsepower does it add if you just dangle a leg off the side and "Fred Flintstone" it through the snow?

I now got the new web page. Yesterday I was still getting the old page. I found the dyno sheet, kinda feel like an idiot but I found it!

I am more interested in the torque numbers than the horsepower numbers. I dont often drag race wide open, more into the sidehilling/boondocking on and off the throttle type stuff and this is where its all about torque gains. This kit looks impressive in that area.

This testing was all done on pump gas with a 100% stock engine.

Our "Drop In" kit simply takes it to he next level.

Having said that, I still feel, very strongly, that the OEM pistons are a problem.. I get far too many calls and have seen too many failures.. Even if the piston has not completely failed, if you measure the piston it is usually WAY out of tolerance after a short time of running. We have seen this countless times.. The Wiseco pistons will suffer skirt collapse usually within 200 miles on a decent size bore..

Yes, the cheater head offers the same performance.

We have quite a few new "projects" in store for the 800 this season..

We are doing our best to try and get this power-plant to produce the power it should and be reliable. Testing continues all season..as usual with our shop.

What real world experienece do you have with the 800 CFI 2 or 4 using Weisco pistons where you can pipe off this statement Kelsey?

Did you test a fix kit that we don't know about?

The MTNTK kit that you are obviously popping a shot off against has been around longer than your kit (by 2 years) and has an excellent record.

You should be careful what you say about things you have no clue about.

I love that 5 year old statement, "I never pimp my products"

Cant belive what im reading?
Have sleds that i put Wisecos in with 3000 miles n more CFI4.
And CFI2 with well over 1000 hard miles and they look like new.
And many of them had scratches and honed but in spec .
And water-x sleds that has been sunk many many times.
I like em-Just set proper ring gap because it varies a lot!

I agree I would like to know if kelsey has delt with Weisco pistons, But what is the rest of your statment about???

Does the fix kit use Weisco pistons ????

I read the post several times and can not find anything that involves a shot at another kit ???

You guys just have bad blood ??? seems like a pretty drastic reply.

Easy

Yes, we have used and tested MANY Wiseco pistons on MANY engines, Even designed the SAME piston geometry as our current piston and compared them after. TOTALLY Different

It is about the forging process and the alloy.. not the geometry.

Thanks Kelsey

I have heard mixed reviews on weisco pistons, I had even installed them on a older sled. They seemed to work ok, but that is not a pro lol

So your head makes power at sea level but not one of your kits (poo or doo) that I know of run worth a chit in Alaska??? I'm not trying to hammer on you I just don't understand why your products don't work here??? Maybe you need to bring your tool box and a drop in kit up here so you can realy prove your product is what you say it is.
