i was looking at buying some of them as well but figure i will spend that money on my sled. just ask WFO you have to look at things in the sense of how much race fuel could i buy with that money!

I looked at them before but thought they would freeze up in the winter. How do yours hold up through the winter?
Love mine also, once they put them on right!
Got mine at Pick em truck store and they put them on on the wrong side of truck. right one on the left side you get it, bolt pattern lined up, fine but rubber steps were way off!

So far so good. I just bought the truck a few months ago. I have had some pretty good "fender burgs" going with no problems. Simple pins in aluminum with an electric motor. I got a rock in one once and it wouldn't close all the way. I removed it and it went right back up.
My truck has a 6" lift and these are the perfect height. I hate the fixed ones on my Tahoe. It too has a 6" lift but the stock boards are almost too high to use. When you dont use them they get the back of your legs trashed.
these are really wide,stable,clean,grippy,and scare the chit out of everybody !

chrome plated bars suck, just a matter of time before they flake... polished stainless steel is the way to go...
I want to buy the Westin Platinum Series nerf bars just wondering who else has them and the overall quality, or a better set to go with.
I've got them on my '02 F150 and love 'em! One of the treads broke off (plastic part) and they replaced both sides. Chrome on stainless. No rust and they look as good today as they did new.

I have the Westin Platinum Series on my Crewcab. They look like the day I put them on and I think they have a warranty on them anyways. They were easy to install by myself and they look great. With the 6" lift it was a big jump to get into the truck. These were a welcomed addition.LOL

Got to ask, why do people put these things on their trucks?
They came on my F-150's and my new Tundra, had the Dealer pull them off before I took delivery of the vehicle.
