I'm helping a friend here. She purchased an Indy 400 for her husband as a first sled in August of 2008. It was mainly to be used to pull their young son on a tube in open hay fields. Well, he has been diagnosed with kidney failure and will not be able to use the sled, and they need to sell it. I told her I would help her .
It is a 1988 Indy 400, it has had alot of work done to it, bringing it to almost new condition. The motor was rebuilt in the fall of 06, and has less than 300 miles since then. The chain case went out due to lack of oil and the sled has sat in storage until this past summer. I took it to our dealer here and had a new chain case, chain, gears, bearings, and seals installed. The seat has been recovered, new paint on the hood, and a new chrome windshield. It is all set to go and just needs someone to ride it. She is asking $1000 for the sled. It will make someone an excellent kids sled or a backup sled.
Thanks for looking.
