Good advice, however means nothing when the wiring breaks......after leaving my sled on the mountain one night our whole crew Carry a bypass now for just that occurrence.

Yep mine got done on the hill.
Probably at 120 miles.

Sorry I don't have any pics...
I have seen a few with wiring broken in the same spot, just above the splice on the 2 wire TSS line.


There is a Velcro bag under/behind the steering post, that has the connection points for wiring on the handle bars. There is a white 2 wire connector, this is the TSS connection. If your having trouble just separate connection and plug in the (Perk) bypass.
If you don't have a bypass you will need to disassemble the throttle block and remove the bypass switch to inspect and repair if necessary...
