Need some jetting/clutching advice

I am planning a trip to the Snowys and will be riding out of greenrock. Was looking for a few tips on jetting/clutching for a stock 2001 mountain cat 800 with a 144".
2001 zr 800 121" (stock)
2000 600 rmk with a 136". (also a slp boost bottle and can if it makes any differents)
Thanks in advance.

Not sure on the cats, but I run 340 jets and 62 weights in my 2002 800 RMK I have 2000 rmk 700 and it has a altitude compinsator, so I dont changes jets and I run 54weighs in mine at Island Park. Hope that helps a little.

60 gram weights for the Cats, maybe 58 if you're a big guy.

Probably 54 gram weights for the 600.

No idea on the other stuff, guys I ride with have larger Polaris machines and their Cat's are EFI.

HammsRMK,

Why are you running weights so much lighter on the 700 RMK? That sled should pull 58's for sure. My .02

I used to run 62's in my Poo 800 VES and in deep pow and 64's in spring snow conditions.

Thanks alot for the info. Do I need to change the springs? If so do I go lighter on the primary and heavier on the secondary? what about the helix? Thanks again

It's hard to say really. Maybe bring some different springs and helixes if you have them but your stock stuff should work fine.
