need help..sled breakdown on trails today..help please

If the check engine light blinked 5 times, would a bad tps harness cause this to happen? Just curious.
no not essentially...
the 5 blinks is for the EGT sensor...that needs to be tended to as well..
but the TPS will cause a ton of other similar issues..
so if the TPS harness has never been replaced...it SHOULD be...same with the TPS setting...do it all right, and do it when your have some down time..
the EGT sensor is either...
--inop
--wiring has melted from the pipe
--shorted, or shorted together
--rubbed the hood and broke
check the sensor on the pipe, if its good...it will NOT flash...if it comes up flashing 5x again...it needs fixed..
then do the TPS harness, baseline TPS sensor adjustment
the wire that comes outta the pipe was acually disconnected where the pins connect..i fixed this and thought it was the problem but still doesnt run right

Did the check engine light shut off? And if it did then it is your TPS. Mine fouled plugs and ran like @$&! untill i adjusted the tps.

2006 polaris 900 rmk - 3 check engine light blinks
anyone no about what it means when the check engine light blinks 3 times?
sled is running like poop......not getting power.....very intermittent power....once rpms get up past around 6000-6500 it kinda chugs...
any help......? thank you

3 blinks is the AIR INTAKE TEMP SENSOR...that goes into the boost box part of the intake...
its either unplugged, or the sensor is broken..
easy fix.

Yes mine did that last ride, was fouling plugs and not running right...turns out the sensor wire was broken, spliced it up and cured.
