Need Help in the Snowies

A guy or two brought up the parking issues, but everyone wanted to stay on topic of the agenda of snow depths and riding dates.

I understand and I hope it works out but what a great opportunity to possibly gain some momentum on a problem in my opinion that really hurts the area. I live several hours away or I would have been there. Oh well maybe next time. Thanks!!!

They changed the date to start the season to the 15th of November and left the 12 inches. Some other minor wording changes also. See the link to read the new rules.

Still no riding after June 1st off trail or route.

It's a start and all of those who were planning on the Thanksgiving weekend you can now ride off trail as long as there is sufficient snow.

I would personally have the most issue with losing the end of the season. Hell the only times I've ridden the snowies have been in June and July.

I hear ya, I was hoping they would give us 15 days on both ends. But in the end I had a feeling it was going to come down to this. The one good thing is they were willing to come to the meeting and listen to us, it may not have gone 100 % the way we wanted, but we did stand up and get a few days back.

Lets enjoy the season and tackle the spring riding when that time comes!

Huge thanks to all that showed up to the meeting, sent letters and dialed numbers!

As for the parking... well that is something that will be a bigger fight. Not sure we have the number of people that will get behind it to make it go. I know the club has been debating pushing the issue...

Let it snow!
