Need Advise On Parts Bought From Canada And No Parts Yet

I have a friend that bought a turbo from a Snowest user (don't remember his user name) Reagon ??, out of AB Canada and he has been screwing around on shipping it and won't answer or return any phone calls. What needs to be done '' legally'" to get the turbo? Can the Canadian authorities be much help?

cant say much about the user not responding, but anything that goes from u.s to canada or vice versa needs to be given at LEAST 2 weeks to get to the end user. customs can hold it, maybe he sent it by mail within canada and it needs to transfer. who knows. all i know is that when i order something from the states, if it does not show up for more than 20 days, then i question its where-abouts.

see where everything goes hopefully well.....as your last resort you can file small claims in Alberta court to get judgement in your favour...you can as well apply to the same court for costs incurred to take him to court...gas ..phone..travel etc..possibly the cost of local Alberta council to represent you..

If it went Canada Post ground this time of year you could be in for a wait. I have sent items Canada Post ground to the U.S. and wonder where it is but 3 weeks later it's there. No replies are usually a bad sign but who knows, guy could be away. Get more details.

Thanks for all the advise so far. I have bought parts and sent parts across the border so I understand the time issues. This has been going on since August. The first excuse was he wrote the address down wrong and it got sent back to him. Ok, fine I understand that. The last time he said he shipped it out weeks ago. Got him on the phone for a tracking number and the tracking number shows that he took it in the day before and the package weighs 1 pound, for a turbo??? Now the tracking info shows it has been shipped back to him. He will not answer any phone calls or call back. I don't want to blemish anyones reputation, but his name is Reagon Gram, so if anyone knows him or of him any help would be appreciated. The least he could do is pick up the phone.

Thanks again to all.

Since August?

Might as well post the d-bag's name and hopefully someone on here will know how to get a hold of the guy and hopefully get the parts. At the very least, maybe prevent someone else from getting screwed.

I checked the number on 411.ca for you and this is what I got back....It's a cell number.

(780) 214-7215 is a cell phone based in Lloydminster, Ab, AB
The registered service provider is TELUS Mobility**.
Detailed listing information is not available.

Hope this helps.

elk is probably Elk Point which is a town in Northern ALberta. I don't have a Elk Point phone book so I can't help you much further.

I did the same and came up with the same info. I was trying to get something resolved because I am the one who found the turbo for my buddy to buy and I feel bad that it turned out this way. Now I have to leave town in the morning and don't know when I will be back. The snow is here and this has taken way to long.

I appreciate everyone's help so far.
