Need advice on a track

looking to add more power? If not stick with the 153. or maybe a 162. if you are adding boost:face-icon-small-win in excess of 180hp,go for a 174x16 perfect track size, depending of course on the style of riding you do.

Riding style is definatly needed in order to help you correctly. If riding powder there's only 2 options. Camo Extreme and powerclaw. I'm personally fond of the 162 CE but would like to try the 174. Also fit as big of lug as possible. 3" needs front cooler delete.

I am just trying to get it to hook up better for now. Im not a huge Hill-Banger but do a lot of back country and boondocking. Dont want to get too long with this track but would consider the 162 was just wondering what style track people are using. I have heard alot of the Camo-Extreme was leaning that way.

Thanks for the help

Powerclaw works well on a stock Nytro, CE is also good but the lose of front tunnel clearance and stiff paddle tend to pull engine RPM down in the soft deep snow as it cant exhaust the snow out the front as well.
on my stock Nytro I ran a powerclaw 162 and on my Tnytro I run a CE 163 with 2.86 drivers.
might also look at the new 153 and 162 CE that camo just released , I put a 153 on my
2010 HCR cat and the last 3/4 of an inch seem softer than the old CE

I put an arctic cat camo challenger take off (162 x 2.25) on my stock nytro it was a big improvement over the maverick, but it was a little soft for my liking, now I run a camo extreme and love it, stock motor turned it just fine.

I switched to the 162 x 2.25 Challenger from the stock 153 and ran it on the stock Nytro for a bit. It was a huge improvement over the stock track, better bite and better floation. I then went to the 180 turbo kit and still have the same track on it, wouldn't change it for the world, works awesome! If and when I have to change it I'd go to the CE.....Sherm

Anybody take the CE and trim the lugs a quarter inch for the clearance up front, or is it not that big of a deal?

I have a 2.5 on mine, works great, fits fine. I love the 2.5. It's just a good all around track.
